June 8th...1967...USS Liberty

 Thinking today of my father who passed on June 8th.  Remembering him as well as those who were killed on the USS Liberty 59 years ago...34 of them.

I certainly don't remember hearing anything about this until a few years ago when I started listening more to alternative media and learning more about Israel.  

Back in the day I cried while reading Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl.  We knew of the Holocaust...it's in our history books and many Hollywood productions have been aired over the years, though heartbreaking...I've watched.  

I don't remember watching or hearing on our local news about the USS Liberty.  Not to compare of course but to ask the question why not?  And to learn what really happened on that day in June 1967 that we were never told about.

Takes balls to do what Thomas Massie did today...addressing the house and demanding a probe into Israel's attack on the USS Liberty.

Israel claimed it was a case of mistaken identity, saying its naval forces thought the vessel was Egyptian.

I'm concluding that since there are survivors which they didn't expect...who have disputed the Israeli version of the incident

Israel apologized and paid millions in compensation to the families of the dead and to the wounded, but questions have never fully gone away.

Interesting flight patterns

 Seems like when we get these flight patterns especially east to west ...west to east...the weather changes.  We've had high 90's on and off since end of April...today cloudy and 70.  Yes, I know it's still Spring which can be unpredictable, but one has to wonder whether the Solar Radiation Modification has to do with it?

Then we wonder if any of this spraying...weather modification ...going from upper 90's to 60's has anything to do with losing all of our fruit trees.  They were loaded with fruit but simply burned.

So very sad when you do everything you can to grow food for yourself and sometimes it's fighting a losing battle.

Wonder how many other local farms in the area are experiencing much of the same.

Time to visit the Farmer's Market and see...
